We arrived at Beamish on a very chilly but bright day.
After getting our bearings some of us headed up to the 1900s town, had an early lunch in the Tearooms and then visited some of the old shops and businesses.
After that it was time to get on with the business of taking some photographs.
The possibilities are endless at Beamish.
Although it is a huge area, the layout is very good for different subjects - Architecture,
Vintage vehicles, Portraiture (people dressed in costumes of the era) and lots of details for close-up photography.
Beamish is a really well-presented and interesting 'Living Museum' of our North-East history.
We met up with other members during the day and all agreed, one visit is not enough!
