The Camera Club Exhibition was held between 20th and 24th June at The World of Life Church.
Pastor Michael & his wife Lindsey made us feel most welcome and the church proved to be a good venue. Refreshments were always available and everyone who came along to the exhibition was treated in the same friendly and hospitable way.
Over 43 people visited the exhibition and were given the opportunity to vote for their favourite image – not an easy task as the standard of photography was very high. The images looked most professional due to the top-quality printing and mounting. Thanks to Malcolm Ross for this.
Ross Thompson’s image Morning Tide collected the most votes and coincidentally this print was also drawn out as the competition winner and the print given to…Liam Hall…………….. Well done Ross.
The following members sold images at the exhibition: Pat Coombs - Coming Home & Waterfall, Jim Buglass - Morning Glory, Roy Smith - Tommy, Delia Boyle - The Pit & …Ross Thompson - Reflections and Adam Richardson - Keld waterfall and I must thank Mark Evans for donating his print Tanfield to Micheal's mother Millie who helped at the church and said it brought back happy memories of here father.
The rest of the images can be found here if you did not get a chance to attend the exhibition.
