This evenings entertainment was provided by a guest speaker to the club, Jim Lycett.
For all those that do not know of Jim, he is a well accomplished pinhole photographer, always striving for the natural camera.
Jim gave us an excellent talk on his life work, a brief history of pinhole photography and how to make a camera.
He even had examples of the cameras Jim makes himself in his workshop (in what used to be the household kitchen!). He is currently up to camera number 78 and each one is a work of art.
Jim had the halls full attention with his excellent delivery and interesting topic.
It was a great night and everyone that attended thought the same. So thank you Jim for your presentation and showing us what a pinhole camera can do.
For examples of Jim's work, please feel free to have a look at the gallery below.
